Christopher did a wonderful job of bringing in a mash-up of world cultures for the Fire Walk.

Here's Christopher, swizzlestick in hand, waiting impatiently for the signal to start. I'm in the "hat" on stilts behind him.
parade of fire 2
Our big event this year (2007) was Carnivalissima, the Harbourfront portion of the city-wide Luminato event. The Fire Parade was a big extravaganza organized by our (SwizzleStick Theatre's) Artistic Director Christopher Pinheiro.

Chris goes bowling at Nuit Blanche
Too many blue shots already but I can't resist this one.
It was an interesting night, with both Chris and I finding new ways to do slightly scary clown.

Nuit Blanche 07 SwizzleStick second performance
After taking over Yonge Street, Dave performed at Natalie Wood's installation at Trinity Church
Taking the street
After our first performance we went rampaging down Yonge Street (that's the main drag, for those of you who don't know Toronto).

It was extremely annoying that all the photogs concentrated on my co-performer Chris Malcolm. l worked my ass off. Why does he get all the glory?
nuit blanche performance, Sept 29/07
SwizzleStick was asked to perform outside the Reference Library early on (we didn't have to do that 4:30 A.M. marathon like so many others - look up Toronto Nuit Blanche in flickr for more photos)
stilt dancers
Nuit Blanche is an all night art party started in Paris and franchised to Toronto... or maybe it's some sort of art meme...
